Our hearts are heavy as we share that our beloved senior girl, Bambi’s older sister, needs to have her eye removed :( She has not responded to treatment over the past week. Despite trying everything we could, her eye has continued to worsen, and surgery is now the only way to relieve her pain and protect her quality of life.

The surgery is scheduled immediately, and heartbreakingly, she will be spending Christmas in the hospital. While we know this procedure is necessary and will ultimately bring her comfort, the cost is $3,000, and it comes at an especially difficult time during the holidays.

She has given us so many years of unconditional love, comfort, and companionship. All we want now is to give her the chance to heal without pain and enjoy her golden years surrounded by the people who love her most.
