We've been blown away by our community's support for us and our cats! A few kind guests have asked how they can help, including both volunteering and donations, so we wanted to create this GoFundMe for those generous folks who want to support us financially.
These funds will be used to keep our small business running and upgrade the space to deliver even better experiences for cats and guests alike. Apart from covering ever-increasing expenses like vet care (typically $1000-3000/month), pet supplies, rent, utilities, and insurance, we hope to use additional funds for things like:
- Renting out an adjacent space to build an event room or senior cat lounge
- Additional vet-grade stainless steel kennels for increased cat intake and quarantine capacity
- Additional furniture for more seating and tables in the café
- Finishing our outdoor space into a secure "catio"
- A commercial washer and dryer for cat blankets
- An automated espresso machine to reduce café wait times and increase consistency
- A plumbed pitcher rinsing sink to reduce café wait times
