Support Balaram Paudel's Dream of Building an Eco-Village
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Aarya Adhikari and I am raising funds for Balaram Paudel from the serene hills of Annapurna Rural Municipality-3, Kaski, Nepal. For years, he has nurtured a dream — to transform his modest farm into a self-sustaining eco-village that not only promotes sustainable agriculture and traditional animal husbandry, but also provides local employment opportunities for Nepali youth.
Like many farmers in Nepal, he faced a devastating setback. In an outbreak of Lumpy Skin Disease, he lost 12 out of his 18 cows, a loss that amounted to approximately 18 lakh Nepali Rupees. This not only shattered his financial stability but also put his long-held vision at serious risk.
Despite the loss, he is determined not to give up.
His goals are:
Commercialize agriculture in a sustainable and eco-friendly way
Rebuild and expand his farm, focusing on indigenous breeds
Create local jobs to discourage youth from going abroad for employment
Educate others about organic farming, ecological balance, and rural enterprise
he truly believes that with the right support, his dream of an eco-village model can become a source of inspiration and livelihood for many in our community.
How You Can Help
I am seeking financial assistance to:
Reinvest in livestock and disease prevention infrastructure
Build a training and employment program for local youth
Develop eco-friendly farming facilities and community spaces
Begin small-scale agro-tourism activities to connect people to rural Nepal
Even a small contribution can make a big difference. Your support means not just helping a farmer recover, but also being part of a bigger mission — to create sustainable, community-based progress in rural Nepal.
Let’s build a future where dreams grow from the soil — together.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and belief in grassroots change.
