TLDR: This gofundme is created by Bailey's wife, Miro, to help raise funds to cover expenses arising from gender-affirming surgery and recovery in March of 2026.
If you don't know Bailey you probably know someone who knows Bailey. Bailey is a community leader, the founder of The Prism Games Foundation, and a fierce advocate to anyone who needs her. Bailey's goal since her transition has been to be a person for other queer and trans individuals to look to, as someone who is following her dreams, staying true to herself, and not shrinking herself in the face of oppression and discrimination.
After a long journey, it is with great excitement, that Bailey is receiving a LIFE CHANGING gender affirming surgery in March. While this is incredible news, this surgery will come with a long recovery, requiring Bailey to be out of work for two months, and in need of constant, hands-on, care.
It is the goal of this gofundme to help raise funds to ease the financial burden and stress that this recovery will cause, and help cover the medical bills left uncovered by insurance. Any support, big or small, financial or emotional, would be incredibly appreciated, and if you are more interested in providing a physical item rather then a monetary donation, there is an Amazon List of items that would help with recovery that you can turn to as well.
Without the support, love, and joy that her community has given her, Bailey would be in a very different place. Her life has truly been changed by every single person who has participated in the community Bailey has worked incredibly hard to build. This community has given her the opportunity to fulfill long-term goals, including the ability to receive this surgery. There is absolutely no pressure to donate, the world we are living in right now is stressful, hard, and in-need. Thank you to everyone who has been there for Bailey, who has supported her, made her laugh, worked on projects with her, and seen her as exactly who she is; and speaking as her wife, thank you for taking care of, protecting, and supporting her.
