My name is Bailey and I am a Scout working on my Eagle Scout Project. I am raising funds to purchase materials to build a bat condo similar to this one, which is to be installed in Blacklick Woods Metro Park in Reynoldsburg, OH.

The bat condo could hold 6,000 mother bats and their young. It is 4 ft x 4 ft x 4.5 ft and will sit eight feet in the air.

Bats are important because they help control the populations of insects that can be pests, especially agricultural pests.
