Hi I’m Amber, Bailees mom. Our sweet 12 year old girl lost her horse very unexpectedly on 1/30 while 1500 miles away from home in AZ with her coaches that have become family. If you know Bailee or shortly after meeting her you’d soon find out her love and passion for her horses and barrel racing. I don’t know any other 12 yr old with as much heart, passion and dedication to something then she has. She sacrifices so much time with friends, and also family time so she can be with her horse training and growing. Bailee is a girl who can swing a leg over any horse and brings peace and calmness.

We were excited this past fall that we found the perfect horse to help grow her to that next level though expensive we have been saving cause we knew the next horse wasn’t going to be cheap. Instantly Chili and Bailee bonded she camped outside her stall for 3 nights to make sure she settled in to her new home. Running consistently in the 1D, they were just getting started when it was cut so tragically short. She had just ran her Monday 1/29 as she had been doing throughout the month of January. Excited for the growth they were both having. The unexpected happened, everything was good throughout the day until it wasn’t.

It all happened so fast and then she was gone. Bailee was right by her side crying praying for her not to leave this world. Bailee and our family are devastated. We have an autopsy being done to hopefully get some answers. We know it won’t bring her back but may bring some understanding. We’d do anything for our girl. Unfortunately we didn’t have insurance on our sweet Chili girl with her age of 18. Our hope is that out of the kindness of your hearts we can work on finding her another horse. This would help alleviate some of the cost in finding another horse for Bailee.
