Hi, our name's are
Joey & Jeannie Colburn Cortes
$$$ Amazing! This is such a blessing we have now raised enough money to pay their rent of $1000 ! Thank u all so much !
Next is her utilities which is about another $800 gas water trash & electric. Electric alone is $500 . With everyone's help I am confident that their bills will be covered for at least 1 month tell they return home. So a will ask one more time , will everyone please reshare this again on their social media feeds so that we can reach more people.
And we are all so thankful for all the support that we have received during this difficult time.
God bless u all.
Our daughter just gave birth on July 18th, 2024, to my first grandchild. His name is Alexander, Xander for short.
Liliana had to have an emergency c-section and a very traumatic delivery experience. Baby Xander had to be airlifted to the children's hospital in Phoenix. Xander is currently undergoing lots of test to ensure his health in the NICU. They are looking at a minimum of 10 days, maybe longer being up in the hospital. Baby Xander is a fighter and he is so precious. I will update the details as soon as I can. We ask that everyone stay positive and pray for a speedy recovery so that baby Xander can come home. We know God moves in mysterious ways.
In the meantime, I am setting up this GoFundMe for them because Alex, the daddy, has had to take a leave of absence from both of his jobs so that he can be with Lily and the baby.
They are on a waiting list for the Ronald McDonald house but as of now, they have nowhere to go but a motel which will be pretty pricey. Also as we all know, life does not stop and bills continue to come in and by the time they get home from the hospital, they will be flooded with bills and no money to pay them.
So, I am trying to relieve them of financial stress with this GoFundMe so that they can just focus on the baby. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless you all
