Wren was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart condition, and has been followed closely by her cardiology team since birth. Earlier this week, she underwent open-heart surgery to repair her heart.

Katie & Cody shared this update earlier:

“Wren’s initial open-heart surgery went well; however, she had a major setback during extubation and unfortunately had to be placed on ECMO and undergo a cath procedure to support her heart. We are now playing the waiting game to see how she handles ECMO and will go from there.”

As Katie and Cody navigate this chapter of immense uncertainty, they are showing incredible strength. The days ahead are expected to bring a long and medically complex hospitalization for baby Wren. Many people have been asking how they can help, and after encouragement from friends and family, Katie & Cody have agreed to let us create a space for tangible support.
