We are so excited to share that Baby Vining is on the way! Our little one is already showing us what true strength looks like.

During our pregnancy, we learned that our baby has a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) - a condition where the diaphragm doesn't fully form, allowing his organs to move into the chest, making it difficult for the lungs to grow. It's rare, but there is hope with the right care.

Because of this, we will be welcoming our little guy at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Florida, which has one of the nation's top CDH specialty centers. We do not know yet how long our stay will be, but we are trusting this journey and the amazing team helping us.

As we prepare for this chapter, many of you have asked how you can support us. In place of a registry or gifts, we are humbly accepting donations to help with travel, lodging, living, and medical expenses while we are away from home in Florida. The average NICU stay for CDH babies is between 3-6 months.
