Support Baby Troy's Journey - A Family in Need
Donation protected
Hello, friends and compassionate hearts,
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a sincere plea for support for our dear sister Tatum, her fiancé Jake, and their newborn son, Troy. Baby Troy entered this world on January 10th at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain, Michigan, at 6:26AM. However, his arrival was accompanied by a few challenges.
Troy was born with Gastroschisis, a condition where an opening in the abdominal wall allows the intestines to protrude outside the body. Due to the severity of his condition, Troy was swiftly life-flighted to the Brandon Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tatum and Jake were already aware of Troy's condition, but his early arrival prevented them from delivering in the planned hospital, adding to the complexities.
The journey has been far from easy. Troy's complications extend to his liver, kidney, and lung functions, delaying the recommended immediate surgery to repair the Gastroschisis. Tatum and Jake are standing strong by Troy's side, navigating through this challenging time with unwavering love and resilience.
Adding to the weight of their situation, Tatum's car was unfortunately totaled just a week before Troy's birth due to a collision with a deer. Leaving both Tatum and Jake without transportation during this critical time.
We are reaching out to you, our community, for support. The financial burden of extended time out of work, transportation costs, and the necessity to stay seven hours away from their home is overwhelming. Your contributions will provide vital assistance to Tatum, Jake, and baby Troy during this challenging period.
Any additional funds raised will be allocated towards Troy's needs when he finally gets to come home, offering a glimmer of hope for a brighter future. Your generosity will make a significant difference in their lives and help ease the financial strain they are currently facing.
Please consider contributing to Troy's journey and supporting this resilient family. Every donation, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to stability and allows them to focus on what truly matters – Troy's health and well-being.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and support.
With gratitude,
