Hello my name is Ashley Tolzman, I am lucky enough to be an aunt to sweet baby Theo.
Theodore Jesse Svyongsay came into this world on March 13th, 2024. This was 11 weeks before his anticipated due date. He was very eager to meet his family and lets be honest he is blessed with some amazing parents, so I don't blame him. While we knew we were going to be blessed with Theo, we did not expect him as soon nor did we anticipate the added costs of a NICU stay. I would love to help this wonderful little family of 3 by helping ease the anxiety these extra costs can bring. If you are able to donate it would be so appreciated. Any amount helps this wonderful family. <3
When I think of Alyssa and Foster the first thing I think of is best friends. Not only are they the best of friends but they each cherish their friendships and put so much into those relationships. Their love story is one of my favorites beginning with a beautiful friendship. They were recently married back in June and were so excited to start a family.
Foster has been part of our family for as long as I can remember. From hanging out with my kid brother to becoming an Uncle to my children. As an Aunt and Uncle, Alyssa and Foster have always been incredibly involved with their nieces and nephews. The love they show to them is unconditional. So when they announced they were expecting we were so excited for their new adventure. Parenting has its fair share of challenges but we knew they would be there to support each other and be wonderful parents.
Through her pregnancy Alyssa experienced many challenges, it was anything but easy. She handled each challenge with grace and proved she is incredibly strong. One night she was having pains so she went into the hospital and this moment would forever change their lives. Alyssa was in labor with Theo. She was very quickly transferred to Rochester. They attempted to stop labor and keep Theo in for as long as they could. However Theo is incredibly strong and knew it was time to come out. Thank goodness he did, had he stayed in longer we don't know if we would have this little blessing with us today.
Since entering this world Theo is proving to be small but mighty. He is growing and thriving and meeting his milestones like a rock-star. He is surrounded with an incredible care team who we truly cannot thank enough. He is lucky enough to have his parents always by his side. Alyssa has been fortunate enough to be able to stay close at the local Ronald McDonald house so she can be there each and everyday. (We cannot say enough amazing things about the Ronald McDonald house). Seeing Alyssa and Foster take on the role of parents is so beautiful. The way they love their little man is unmatched and the way they support each other through this time is something I admire.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and donating. All donations will go directly to Alyssa and Foster to help cover the costs of Theo's NICU stay.
