My name is Sarah Wenzel. Asking for Prayers and Support for Baby Sophia

Our family just received some heartbreaking news — my beautiful 1-year-old niece, Sophia, has been diagnosed with leukemia. We are still waiting on a bone biopsy to determine the specific type, but she has already begun this difficult journey surrounded by love and strength.

Sophia is currently receiving care at UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital, where her parents are by her side every moment.

As you can imagine, this has turned their world upside down. Her parents are doing everything they can to stay strong for her, but the road ahead is uncertain and overwhelming.
