Dearest Ohana and Friends,

My brother Ryan and his wife Jeanette Awakuni welcomed their long-prayed for firstborn, baby Sofia, on October 21st in Las Vegas. Born at 26 weeks and weighing just 1 pound 11 ounces, Sofia is a true miracle.

We praise God for her life and for the incredible care she’s receiving from the NICU team. With God's help and excellent medical support, we believe Sofia will not only survive but thrive. Because Sofia was born 3 months premature, she will be in the NICU for about 3 months and this may accumulate significant costs.
