Please Join Us in Supporting Baby SJ!

Our friends, Kylie and Sal, welcomed their sweet son, SJ, to the world on July 11, 2024 at 1:40 am. Kylie, Sal, and SJ went through many months of uncertainty through the pregnancy as it was discovered that he was growing at a much slower rate than anticipated, he was found to have a possible heart problem, and most recently they experienced compromised diastolic flow through the umbilical cord.

This led to a pre-term emergency c-section in the early morning hours of July 11th. SJ was taken immediately to the NICU where he will be for the foreseeable future.

SJ is a fighter! He is a super small baby of 700 grams and 13 inches long. He has a major heart defect along with other abnormalities. Kylie, Sal, and SJ’s medical team are waiting on the results of the genetic and chromosome testing which will enable the team to create a care plan for the coming months.

We ask for your love, prayers, and any support you feel led to share with this sweet family. We want them to focus on SJ’s needs as they begin their journey together as a family along with SJ’s older sister, Ruby.
