Sevyn Amir Weber was born on August 29, 2024, a healthy, happy baby! He is his mom Keiara's rainbow baby, dad's baby boy, and his siblings' lil man. Nothing could have been more perfect once Sevyn joined the family. However, the week of November 14th changed that when a doctor visit for a cough sent the family to the hospital for emergency brain surgery for Sevyn. Doctors said that baby Sevyn had fluid on his brain and it had to be removed. Sevyn was admitted to Children's Hospital in New Orleans, LA, and the surgery revealed that Sevyn had a tumor the size of a golf ball and that they would have to go back in and remove residual matter as well. A few days later, the biopsy came back to reveal that baby Sevyn has an aggressive form of cancer, ATRT Level 4 brain cancer, and will have to undergo chemotherapy after a few weeks of healing. The great news is that baby Sevyn is doing well post-surgery but will need a lot of medical attention to stay well and on a healthy track.

His family is so faithful and prayerful that they will get through this time, as everything has happened so quickly, but they are concerned with ongoing costs. Any support you can give baby Sevyn and his family would help to alleviate the stress of worrying about medical bills.
