Hi, my name is Laura, and I am reaching out on behalf of my dear family members, Ben and Jessica. On April 29th, they welcomed their beautiful baby Scarlett into the world. However Scarlett was born with meconium aspiration syndrome and is currently receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly challenging and emotional time for Ben and Jessica. Scarlett is a fighter, but the journey ahead is long and uncertain, with several necessary treatments and round-the-clock care.

The costs associated with a NICU stay are overwhelming and the funds raised would help cover:

• Specialized neonatal care

• Daily monitoring and medical procedures

• Medications and treatments

• Support services for Scarlett’s development

• Travel and accommodation expenses to stay close to the hospital
