Support Baby Saint's Burn Recovery

Hello Family, Friends, and Kind Hearts,

This message has been sadly written with love on behalf of Dawoo and Tylasia. My name is Alexis, and I am the godmother of their 2-year-old toddler, Saint, who frequently graces our timelines with a warm smile on his face. On the evening before Thanksgiving Day, the unimaginable occurred. Saint accidentally pulled a pot of boiling water off the stove and onto himself. The scalding water resulted in second-degree burns on Saint’s face, stomach, and legs. This tragic accident led to an emergency ambulance ride to the hospital for Saint and Tylasia who reside in Nevada, in addition to emergency air travel to Nevada for Dawoo who resides in New Jersey. Saint is currently hospitalized at a Burn Center located in Las Vegas where he is receiving specialized care in the Intensive Care Unit. As doctors have indicated, Saint will remain in the Burn Center for a minimum of three weeks as he will undergo ongoing procedures to maximize his cosmetic appearance.

Standing by Saint’s side since the tragic accident has caused emotional turmoil as well as financial strain for Dawoo and Tylasia. Both parents have taken the necessary time off from work, and they will remain by their son’s side every step of the way as the road to recovery is expected to be lengthy, complicated, and challenging. Once discharged from the Burn Center, Saint will require rehabilitation, and he will need to attend a series of ongoing appointments with multiple doctors and specialists.

Unfortunately, Dawoo and Tylasia will continue to deal with emotional pain, growing medical expenditures, and an extended leave of absence from work which is unavoidable. As a result, I am asking the public for assistance to support this family as Saint requires a significant amount of ongoing medical care. The funds raised will go directly towards medical expenses and travel costs for medical appointments. It will also support the additional care that Saint will need during the unforeseen journey.
