Support Baby River & Family During a Medical Crisis

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits on behalf of Baby River, a sweet little soul who is currently facing serious medical complications. River was born with a pulmonary artery sling that grew between her trachea and esophagus. The sling is putting pressure on her airway, making it difficult for her to breathe and nearly impossible for her to eat and maintain a healthy weight.

River’s journey has taken a difficult turn, requiring ongoing treatment and specialized care at MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina). River is not alone—she has a loving sister at home who misses her dearly, and devoted parents who are traveling back and forth between home and MUSC to ensure both girls are loved and cared for during this incredibly hard time. The emotional toll is immense, and so is the financial strain.

From gas, food, and lodging close to the hospital, to lost wages and medical expenses not covered by insurance, the burden has become overwhelming. We are asking for your help to ease the weight of this burden.
