Support Baby Pippi’s Recovery After Open-Heart Surgery

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and sent love our way. Your support means more than we can put into words.

Unfortunately, we’ve recently learned that Pippi’s condition is more complex than we first anticipated. In addition to her heart condition, she has been diagnosed with a rare genetic syndrome, which brings additional challenges and uncertainties. This is not the news we had hoped for, and as we process what this means for her future, we are holding onto the love and support we have around us.

We don’t know what the road ahead looks like just yet, but knowing we have so many people behind us makes all the difference. Thank you for your generosity, we appreciate it more than you know.

Precious Pippi was born on Tuesday 4th of March, and just two days later, on Thursday 6th of March, she underwent open-heart surgery to repair coarctation of the aorta and a hole in her heart. She has shown incredible strength, but her journey isn’t over yet.

Pippi is still in the hospital and will remain there for the next few weeks as she recovers. During this time, Amber and Josh, have had to relocate to Perth, over 3.5 hours from their home in Margaret River to be by her side.

Once Pippi is well enough to go home, she’ll still need ongoing care, and Amber and Josh will need all the support they can get. Josh will need to take additional time off work to help Pippi recover and support their family as they adjust.

We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden of this difficult time—covering lost income, travel costs, and anything else that will help Pippi and Amber heal in a stress-free, loving environment.
