Hi everyone! I am trying to raise some money for my brother-in-law and his little family.
Travel, food, and overall life expenses will add up over time while they are on their journey with sweet Paisley.
Kayla was scheduled to be induced on the 15th of June, but the baby was in distress, so she made her appearance on June 2nd and has been in the NICU since.
Baby Paisley has hypoplastic right heart syndrome (chronic heart defect). Anthony and Kayla have been to the doctor week after week monitoring her heart as she grows.
Now that she has arrived, when she has a little bit more weight on her, they will either do a stent or shunt. They will proceed with a dye test to see if her coronary arteries are strong enough for heart surgery (one at 3/4 months old and another one at 3/4 years old). If the arteries are not strong enough, she will be placed on a heart transplant list.
This is obviously going to be a long journey for everybody, but we know God has a plan and Paisley is already a fighter.
If you cannot donate, please say a prayer.
I will keep everyone updated as I know more information.
JUST WANTED TO SHARE UPDATE AFTER SECOND SURGERY FROM DAD
Paisley has a single ventricular hydro plastic right heart with pulmonary atresia( born a blue baby and half a heart , ) paisley went back Wednesday morning (2-25-26) @ 11am to have her open heart surgery , the surgery lasted till 7pm ,after surgery was over they had let us know that the surgeon wanted to speak with me and Kayla , so as we waited for another 45 min , he finally came through the door and the look he had on his face wasn’t promising so he sat down and started just to tell us step by step on what they did , after opening her up they went a head and opened her heart up to see why the right ventricle hasn’t grown or why it’s not pumping enough blood , they found out that her pulmonary artery is no good at all nor is her pulmonary valve that leads to the right ventricle, her right ventricle doesn’t pump at all so he said she will have a single ventricle heart and will have to follow up with another surgery that’s is called the Fontaine ( the surgery she had today is called the glen ) @ 3-4 yrs old . Thank you for all the prayers , please continue to pray for our family during these times.
