Here is the face of a champion! This is Nolan Stephen Doolittle, and he is all of eight days old. Most newborns spend their early days learning how to eat, sleep, and interact with the world. Nolan has spent his first eight days fighting for his life.

Nolan was born to Osborne and Caroline Doolittle. He was delivered via C-section on August 5th, two weeks early because of some concerns with his kidneys. Very quickly after birth he was whisked off to the NICU, sedated, and intubated. As various rounds of testing began, the difficult results started to pile up. A golf-ball sized adrenal tumor, metastases to the liver, internal organs compressed and struggling. Every successive piece of news felt devastating. A newborn with metastatic cancer? How to even process such a diagnosis?

Osborne and Caroline have been shaken but steadfast as they have
watched their firstborn child undergo procedures, complicated tests, and multiple doses of chemotherapy. Nolan is a fighter! But this is a marathon, not a sprint. And as they look ahead at the coming weeks and months, there are food, lodging, and travel expenses to consider, as well as medical bills piling up. The hospital that can give Nolan the best chance at overcoming this is several hours away and Osborne is unable to work full time.

My purpose in starting this Go Fund Me is to hopefully take some of that burden off their shoulders. If we can take some of the financial pressure away, they can focus more of their time and attention towards supporting and caring for their sweet boy.

God is good, all the time. Even now - especially now! – though we do not understand this hard providence. Osborne and Caroline are clinging to Jesus and trusting Him with their child. Even if you are not able to give financially, this beautiful little family covets your prayers, love, and messages of support.
