On December 1st, baby Nathan Tice arrived unexpectedly at just 25 weeks gestation. He is tiny, brave, and fighting every moment in the NICU at Texas Women’s Hospital in Houston, where he will remain for several months receiving the critical care he needs to grow stronger each day.

Nathan’s parents, Matt and Sandra Tice, have been part of the Splashway Family since they were teenagers. For more than 20 years, they have poured their hearts into creating the kindness, warmth, and guest service that Splashway is known for. To our guests, our staff, and everyone who knows them, Matt and Sandra are the heart and soul of the Splashway Family.

Nathan’s early arrival begins a long journey for their family — one filled with hope, prayer, and many days spent in the NICU. The months ahead will bring added expenses such as travel to Houston, meals, lodging, and time away from work as they stay by Nathan’s side.
