Baby Mateo arrived earlier than expected, and from the start he has shown incredible strength. After weeks in the NICU, he is now home, but his journey is only beginning.

Mateo requires weekly PT and ongoing care from multiple specialists, including hematology/oncology, cardiology, and the Down Syndrome Clinic, which are all located 1.5 hours away.

These long trips, constant appointments, missed work, and mounting medical bills have placed a heavy strain on the Rus family as they focus on providing Mateo the best care possible.
