Marcos Molina was born 7 weeks premature and is in the NICU at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. He has been through two surgeries for NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis). He is stable, but will be undergoing several more surgeries, and they are anticipating a 4-month hospital stay. His parents, Janae Sanchez and Marcos Molina, are with him. They are needing help with expenses while they are not able to work for travel, food, and medical expenses. The funds collected will go directly to Janae to help them during this unexpected difficult time.

Hi.. the last time you heard from me, baby Marcos made his early arrival & after that he was doing so well. Everything to worry about was slowly dissipating & he was progressing effortlessly. Then on his 4th day earth side, things took the quickest turn south. He was diagnosed with NEC & flown to Children’s Nebraska in Omaha. We followed & have been with him since. There has been so much information & so many emotions, it’s been hard to truly process. Baby Marcos has now undergone 2 surgeries, & once again is on the road to recovery. We still have a lot to face & a lot more time here in Omaha. God is good & we are hopeful, yet we’re still unsure of what the future holds & are taking things day by day.

To family, friends & those of you who support me through my work that I have grown a relationship with, I know you do not expect an update or explanation to be owed, but I also know that you truly care & it would be a conversation & concern if you guys had an idea of what was going on. It’s hard for me to be vulnerable & public with this information, but I appreciate all of you on such a deep level. The only thing I’d like to ask of you is to keep our baby in your prayers.
