Help Tiny but Mighty Lucia Fight Hepatoblastoma

The last few days have turned our world upside down.

Our baby, Lucia, who is only 3 months old, has been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare liver cancer in children.

Lucia is tiny, but she is mighty. She is currently being cared for at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where her treatment plan will include chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and then additional chemotherapy. Doctors have told us this will be a long journey lasting many months, and our family will need to relocate to Seattle so we can stay by her side through every step.

Our days now revolve around hospital rooms, scans, treatment plans, and learning how to be strong in ways we never imagined — all while caring for a baby who should only know comfort, safety, and love.

We are incredibly grateful for the medical team caring for Lucia, but the financial strain of months of treatment away from home is overwhelming. Between medical bills, long-term housing near the hospital, travel, meals, and time away from work, expenses are adding up quickly.

Lucia may be small, but she is fighting a big battle — and she deserves every chance to grow up healthy and strong. Any donation, no matter the amount, helps lift this burden and allows us to focus on what matters most: helping our baby heal.
