Hello everyone! This fundraiser has been created on behalf of the Knight family. On November 2, 2025, Candace and Jeremy Knight welcomed their second child into the world; a beautiful baby boy named Liam Hayes. With a healthy, full term pregnancy and a smooth delivery one would not expect a NICU stay, however God had other plans for their sweet boy. Baby Liam was born with only one developed lung, as well as some other minor health concerns that required monitoring and follow up appointments. He was transported to Novant Presbyterian in Charlotte so he can get the best care available. For nine days Liam has been in the NICU, working to get his functioning lung strong enough to be discharged. As of right now there is no set date for him to come home. This unfortunately has taken a mental and financial toll on the family, and once Liam is finally discharged he will still require close monitoring for a while and several doctors visits and scans. On behalf of the family we are asking for continued prayers for sweet Liam to get stronger, for his parents and older sister who want him home, for his care team, and also for donations if anyone feels led to. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated! All donations will go towards easier meals for them while they navigate a busier schedule and towards Liam’s medical expenses.
