On September 18th, our family was blessed with the arrival of Baby Leo. He is the beautiful son of Lilly and Brian, and he has already shown us what true strength looks like.

Leo was born with a rare and serious congenital heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). In simple terms, HLHS means that the left side of Leo’s heart did not fully develop, making it impossible for his heart to pump blood the way it should. Babies with HLHS face a long road ahead — usually requiring a series of open-heart surgeries within their first few years of life.

Leo’s journey will be filled with challenges and hospital stays, but he is a fighter. He has already captured our hearts, and we believe he will continue to show us courage beyond measure.

As you can imagine, this journey is not only emotionally and physically overwhelming but also financially difficult. Brian is working six days a week, often from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., doing all he can to provide. Lilly will be unable to work as she devotes her time to caring for Leo and being by his side through every step of this uphill battle.

Our hope is to bless my daughter, Brian, Mia, and Leo — to give them one less thing to worry about during this season. We are asking, if you feel led, to consider supporting them. Even the smallest gift makes a difference. Our dream is that if 1,000 people gave just $5–$10, it would create a foundation of support to help cover bills, gas, meals, and the countless expenses that come with such a journey.
