Help Support Baby Kenzie and the Green Family
My name is Nikk Atencio, and I’m reaching out to ask for support for a dear friend and former employee of mine, Sean Green, and his family. On August 21st, 2025, Sean and his wife Mandy welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Kenzie Mae Green — the perfect addition to their loving family of six.
What should have been the happiest time of their lives has quickly turned into every parent’s worst nightmare.
Just one month after bringing Kenzie home to meet her three older siblings, she began having severe, repeated seizures, some lasting up to 30 minutes at a time. Sean and Mandy rushed her to MCR Loveland, where doctors were able to stabilize her briefly before determining she needed more advanced care. Kenzie was airlifted to Children's Hospital, where she could receive specialized treatment.
For the past two weeks, Mandy has been living at the hospital by Kenzie’s side, while Sean has been at home caring for their other children. Neither of them has been able to work during this time — and as you can imagine, the financial and emotional toll is growing by the day.
Today, I received a heartbreaking update from Sean:
Kenzie’s condition is worsening. Due to the prolonged and repeated seizures, her hypothalamus — a small but vital part of the brain — has been severely damaged.
The hypothalamus controls essential functions such as body temperature, sleep cycles, hunger and thirst, and hormone regulation. This damage has left Kenzie both mentally and physically disabled, and doctors are now saying she may not be able to leave the hospital.
As some of you know, my own work involves transporting patients and caring for other people’s loved ones. Sean worked alongside me in this field and has spent many years doing the same — serving others with compassion and care.
Now, it’s our turn to care for his family.
I’m asking for any support you can offer — whether that’s a donation, a share, or simply a prayer. Funds raised will go directly to Sean and Mandy to help with household expenses, food, bills, travel costs, and anything else they need during this unimaginable time.
Let’s show the Green family they are not alone. Let’s surround them with the same love and support they’ve shown others for so many years.
Thank you,
Nikk Atencio
