Support Baby Juniper's Heart Surgery
Donation protected
Baby Juniper needs heart surgery. She was born on 11/14/24 to parents Brad Harrington and my sister, Shawntaya Harrington-DeLange. Her arrival was long awaited by two very loving parents.
Baby Juniper was born with two holes in her heart and has been in the NICU on 100% oxygen. She gets very tired eating and uses most of her energy just breathing because her cardiopulmonary system is working hard to oxygenate. She has a very large P-VSD which will not close on its own due to the location and fibrous tissue. This big hole is in the ventricular septum and blood backflows from left to right. She also has a PFO opening defect. Little Junie will be having heart surgery soon once she gains enough weight.
Brad (father), who works for Multnomah Sheriff's Office, and Shawntaya (mother), who is a respiratory therapist for Legacy Health, are people who always help others and never ask for anything in return.
If there is anything you can contribute to help with medical expenses, home monitoring equipment, and insurance deductibles/max out-of-pocket expenses, it would be greatly appreciated. This little family has a long road ahead and could use our support.
