Update on baby Isla as of 1/3/2025-
Thank you to everyone who has helped, supported, and donated to our go fund me! We are in awe & so blessed to be surrounded by such a thoughtful, giving, and tight knit community.
Isla is 33 weeks, day of life 40 today (1/3/25). She weighs 4 pounds 7 ounces. She is in an open crib, and weaning off her respiratory support. She continues to amaze us daily!
We are so grateful for the amazing care we have received from Golisano and the team here. Weston is doing well in this season of life, but we can't wait until we are all able to be home together.
Thank you again for all your support. Please keep the prayers and good vibes coming for our little miracle girl.

Isla Nicole McGregor arrived into this world much earlier than expected at 12:39AM on 11/24/24 at 2lbs 10oz. She was born at 27 weeks by emergency c-section following complications with excessive bleeding and placenta previa that initially sent Jessica to Strong on Saturday morning.
Jess and Josh are so glad to have their beautiful baby girl in their lives, and Weston is ecstatic to be a big brother to his sissy “I-ya.” Isla will need to stay in the NICU at Golisano until closer to her original due date in February.
Jessica and Josh are very grateful that baby Isla is receiving the dedicated care she needs and very thankful for the team at the NICU! Luckily Jess and Josh are able to stay at the Ronald McDonald House nearby to stay close to Isla, which is of no cost to them, but close to 2 and 1/2 months at Strong for Isla is going to be difficult financially. Not to mention the cost of gas, with traveling back and forth to be with Weston. Any little bit helps and is appreciated more than you could know!
Happy Holidays to everyone and we ask that you keep Isla and the rest of the McGregors in your thoughts!
