Help Support Baby Hazel and her Parents, Gabby and Norde, Through an Unimaginably Difficult Journey

At just 23 weeks pregnant, Gabby was admitted to the hospital with severe preeclampsia. Only two weeks later, at 25 weeks, tiny Hazel entered the world through an emergency c-section—far earlier than anyone had hoped.

Hazel fought bravely in the NICU for 104 days, and after months of fear, hope, and healing, she was finally able to go home on July 28th to be with her family.

But only 14 weeks after her long-awaited homecoming—and 15 weeks past her original due date—Hazel was rushed back to the hospital. She is now in the ICU with a diagnosis of HLH, a rare and extremely serious inflammatory disease.

This has turned life upside down once again for Gabby, Norde and Bryson. They will be out of work for an unknown time as they stay by Hazel’s bedside, advocating for her care and holding onto hope through every unpredictable turn.

This fundraiser is to help relieve the growing financial burden—from lost income to hospital stays, travel, meals, child care for Bryson and the many unexpected costs that come with long-term critical care.
