Meet Baby Hachi,

This brave little soul was found alone in a car garage, struggling more than anyone should. At first glance, she may look okay—but Hachi has a severely crushed pelvis. Every movement is painful. She can’t stand to relieve herself, and she can only scoot around using her front legs.

Despite everything, Hachi still tries to show love and trust. Her spirit is unbroken—and we want to give her the second chance she so deeply deserves: a safe, loving home where she can heal and grow strong again.

But the medical costs for her treatment and medication is adding up. That’s why we’re reaching out.

We’re so happy to share that Hachi’s pelvis is beginning to heal, and thanks to her progress, the likelihood of her needing invasive surgery has significantly decreased. This is such wonderful news, and it’s all thanks to your generosity and encouragement.

However, we’ve recently faced an unexpected turn. Hachi needed an emergency tail amputation due to complications. She’s recovering bravely, but this has added a new, urgent expense to her care.

In light of this, we’re raising our donation goal slightly to help cover the cost of her amputation surgery and the ongoing X-rays needed to monitor the healing of her pelvis.
