At just 3½ months old, sweet baby Forrest has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a serious heart condition that no family ever expects to face—especially so early in life. What should be a time filled with first smiles and milestones has suddenly turned into extensive testing, hospital stays, and the overwhelming reality of an upcoming heart surgery.
Forrest is a strong little fighter, and his parents, Blylei and Cody, are doing everything they can to stay strong for him. But as you can imagine, this unexpected diagnosis has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on their family. Between expenses, time away from work, travel for hospital visits, gas, food, and basic living costs like rent, the weight is quickly becoming more than they can carry alone.
We are asking for your help to support Forrest and his parents during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward easing the financial stress so Blylei and Cody can focus on what matters most: being by Forrest’s side as he undergoes surgery and begins his healing journey.
Forrest and his family are currently staying in Chapel Hill at the hospital and are waiting to get a room at the Ronald McDonald house, they are being told that their stay could be 1-2 weeks depending on what testing shows today.
If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Forrest in your thoughts and prayers. Your love and support mean everything to this family.
