Support Baby Finnleigh's Recovery Journey

Hi, my name is Bri, and I’m the proud single mom of two beautiful children—my 6 yr old son Felix and my newborn daughter, Finnleigh, who was born on May 16th, 2025.

Shortly after birth, baby Finn was diagnosed with laryngomalacia, a condition that makes it difficult for her to breathe and she has been in the NICU ever since. With her struggling to eat and her oxygen levels constantly dropping, we were previously at bellin hospital but recently transferred to the NICU at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and they’ve decided that she needs to undergo airway surgery to help her breathe and eat more easily. While the procedure is considered safe, recovery can be unpredictable and slow, especially in newborns.

Originally, I planned to return to work in 6–8 weeks. But given her medical needs—and the emotional toll of her NICU stay—I’m hoping to extend my time off through the summer so I can focus completely on her healing without rushing to place her in daycare.

This fundraiser will help cover:

• Additional time off work to bond with and care for her as she recovers

• Medical expenses related to her NICU stay and surgery

• Basic bills and living costs while I remain out of work to be present with both of my children

my son & i are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee to be close to Finnleigh—and we both need the comfort of being together during this time.

This wasn’t the postpartum journey I expected—but I’m so grateful my babygirl is here, and I’m determined to give her the safest, most loving start possible.
