Donate to help Baby Fabian recover from open heart surgery

We have created this GoFundMe page to ask with a heartfelt plea to assist Baby Fabian and his parents with these new unexpected medical costs as well as the day-to-day costs they are incurring while being away from home to be close to their little boy. This precious child has a long road ahead of him and will have multiple open-heart surgeries. As we are writing this, he is still trying to recover from his first surgery.

PaiLee and Danny received news of their son's condition just 24 hours before he was born. Pailee was life-flighted from her home in Preston to Salt Lake City to get the care they would need, and they had a very long scary night. Fabian was born via c-section with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. It is a rare severe congenital heart defect where the left side of the heart is underdeveloped. Today’s surgery was the first of many critical open-heart surgeries to repair his tiny heart. The surgery has been a temporary success but they have a long road ahead and more surgeries. As a single-income family residing over two hours from the hospital, financial concerns are heavy on their shoulders. At this time, they have been blessed to stay at the Ronald McDonald house but this is just a temporary option.

I hope that we can come together and alleviate some financial stress so Fabian’s parents can be present and there for him during this time without the stress of financial burdens. As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we need your help to ensure Fabian gets the best care possible. Their hearts are heavy during this very trying time as they are praying for their son’s heart and for his doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are taking care of him. Please pray for Fabian, his family, and his care team.
