Support for Baby Ezra and His Family

Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, Junior and Marina, welcomed their precious baby boy, Ezra Madrigal, into the world on June 11th. Ezra has faced some health challenges in his first few weeks of life. He is currently at Madera Children’s Hospital, bravely fighting off an infection.

Because of his premature birth, Ezra’s immune system is especially fragile, making it harder for his tiny body to fight off illness. Doctors expect he’ll need to remain in the hospital for several more weeks as he continues his treatment and healing journey.

This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for Marina and Junior, who are doing everything they can to stay strong for Ezra and their three other boys. The hospital is over two hours from their home, and the added costs of travel, food, lodging, and medical bills are placing a huge financial strain on the family.
