Hi, I’m raising funds to support Brittani, Brandon, their son Elijah, and their new baby girl, Evie.

Evie’s arrival was an emergency. Because of very high amniotic fluid, Brittani needed an urgent C-section. During delivery, Evie was cut off from oxygen for too long and developed hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. She was taken immediately to the NICU after delivery.

Right now, Evie is intubated, has had multiple seizures, and her kidney function is not where it needs to be. Her medical team is watching her closely and doing everything they can.

Brittani and Brandon are staying at the Ronald McDonald House, which has been an enormous blessing, but while they are focusing all their love and energy on Evie’s fight, their son Elijah is also adjusting to this difficult time. The family is balancing time between the hospital and making sure Elijah feels supported and cared for—while also facing the financial strain of being away from work, and managing everyday expenses.

Baby evie has been transfered to MOTTS for more indepth care. She got a dialysis catheter and is starting dialysis. She still has a long road ahead of her. Now being even futher away from home help is needed more then ever. The traveling for Elijah to hospital and then home for school will add up quickly.
