Support baby Ella through open heart surgery

Our friend’s precious baby girl, Ella Kate, came into the world on March 7 & she has already proven to be a fighter. This sweet girl has a unique constellation of heart defects that requires our tiny fighter to undergo open-heart surgery after being in the world for only a few short days. Her surgery and recovery will mean weeks, possibly months in the hospital. Her family is leaning heavily on their faith as they face one of the most challenging seasons ahead.

Through it all, we are reminded of God’s promises and hold tightly to His word. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, ‘So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’

We trust that God will provide for all needs, but we are raising funds to help the family with medical expenses and basic living expenses during Ella’s recovery. Any contribution, big or small, will not only help the parents care for their daughter, but allow them to stay by her side and focus on her healing.

Most of all, we ask for your prayers for Ella for her heart to grow stronger each day, for her medical team to have wisdom, and for God’s peace to cover her tiny body. Philippians 4:6-7 says: ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ We hold fast to this truth and thank you for lifting us up in prayer.
