Hi, my name is Haidi. This fundraiser is for my nephew Elijah who was born 3 months early to the parents of Erika and Hagen. Elijah was born at only 2lbs 1oz which requires him to be in the NICU for several weeks, while Erika is at home recovering and Hagen is trying to make it to as many shifts at work as he can. The parents have to travel 80 km to spend time with their baby boy and with the rising gas prices we want to help them feel like they can visit him everyday without worrying about the cost of gas keeping them at home instead of by their son's side.
