Our son Elias was born at 24 weeks, weighing 1 pound 14 ounces and 12 inches long. He’s a tiny little boy, but man let me tell you he’s one strong little boy. He continues to amaze us with each milestone he hits. Although, this past week has been filled with a rollercoaster of emotions as we face the challenges that come before us, we have been running on empty, physically and emotionally. We continue to lean on God, remind ourselves that we serve a God that can turn it around.God can do a lot with just a little. As I read this scripture, “Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil. Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.” She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. “When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.”
2 Kings 4:2-6 NIV. We came to the realization that now more than ever is when we need a community to help us lift Elias in prayer, we cannot do this alone. We are stronger with a community by our sides. Prayers are very appreciated, we know how powerful prayer is. We appreciate donations as they will help us so much. If you donate, we greatly appreciate it. Your prayers and simply sharing this post means a lot. Thank you for praying with us. ♥️
