Dear friends and family, we are reaching out to you in a time of need for the dear Rickert family. Their precious baby, Eleanor Firenze, was born at just 23 weeks and 4 days at just 1.5 pounds and has been in the NICU for nearly 4 weeks. Although sweet Eleanor has shown incredible strength and resilience, her journey is far from over and she is expected to stay in the hospital until at least late fall.

As you can imagine, this has placed an immense emotional and financial strain on the family. The costs of traveling to the hospital, food, and daily necessities are mounting, and they could use our support during this challenging time.

Lisa and Brandon have remained hopeful and faithful while being by her side at the NICU, witnessing both the miraculous progress and the heart-wrenching setbacks that come with such a fragile start to life. The isolation has been overwhelming, compounded by the stress of navigating medical jargon and procedures. All while juggling the responsibilities of caring for their three other young children at home and fulfilling Brandon's full-time duties in the military.

The hospital is 40 minutes from their house, and they commute daily, adding to the financial and emotional strain. We are asking for donations to assist with gas, food, and other essential expenses that will allow Eleanor's parents to focus on her care and well-being.
