No parent expects their newborn to spend their first weeks of life in a hospital. No family expects a diagnosis that changes everything overnight
Hi, my name is Mak and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my nephew, Carson Fridley.
Carson is just one month old and has already been diagnosed with a serious form of Cystic Fibrosis. In his short life, he has already been hospitalized and now must travel to Primary Children’s Hospital at least once a month for specialized care and ongoing treatments.
Carson is currently on four different medications, all of which are very expensive, and as he grows, he will eventually need genetic-modifying medications that are life-saving but extremely costly. Every day, Carson must also complete breathing treatments twice a day, each lasting close to an hour, to help keep his lungs clear and support his ability to breathe.
What makes this journey even more difficult is that Carson’s mom, my sister, also has Cystic Fibrosis, so this diagnosis is especially close to their hearts. Carson's parents, Hannah and Matt Fridley, are doing everything possible to manage his medical needs while also caring for their family and their seven-year-old daughter Emmaline.
We hope to help ease the overwhelming financial burden that comes with frequent hospital visits, specialty care, medications, and long-term treatment costs for the Fridley Family. Our hope is to support them so they can focus on what matters most—loving Carson and giving him the best chance at a healthy life.
Any donation, share, or prayer is deeply appreciated and will make a meaningful difference for the Fridley family. Thank you for taking the time to read Carson’s story and for standing with them during this journey
