My name is Julie, and I have been friends with the Stuart family for many years. This sweet, Christian family has been navigating a challenging and emotional journey since the birth of their son. Despite the uncertainty and exhaustion, their strength and faith in God have been unwavering. I ask that you please join me in supporting and praying for this dear family and their sweet baby, Callen Hayes Stuart.

On the 29th of May 2025, sweet baby Callen was born. Completely unexpectedly, Callen was born with a rare and complex condition known as bladder exstrophy—a condition that affects less than 1 in 50,000 births, where the bladder is exposed outside of the body, requiring immediate medical intervention. His bladder is not only on the outside of his body, but also inside out. We know that God has been in this story since before Callen was even born. The Stuart family has been surrounded by medical teams who have been nothing but blessings from God. The road ahead is going to be long and challenging. Callen will need multiple surgeries, specialized care, and ongoing treatments as he grows. These procedures are not just life-saving but life-changing for him, and I know his parents will do everything they can to ensure he has the best possible chance at a healthy, happy life. The first surgery will be scheduled when Callen is just a few months old, with more surgeries to follow as he grows. This first surgery will be for closure to put his bladder inside of his body. He will endure them breaking his hips in a few places, he will be bedridden from a mermaid wrap so he can't move his legs, and he will have an external fixator (rods and pins). These procedures, coupled with the constant need for medical care, hospital stays, and the cost of specialized equipment and therapies, have placed an immense financial burden on the family. The toll is not only physical and emotional but also financial—and this is where we need your help. Please consider donating and sharing this page with your friends and family.
