To know Shania is to love her. On August 20th, Troy and Shania Denmark welcomed their sweet baby, Beau, into the world. Beau was born with a heart defect called tetralogy of Fallot. Because of his condition, he had to be born at UAB in Birmingham. The team of doctors has decided it’s time for Beau to go ahead and have his first open-heart surgery. Very soon, the family will travel from Mobile to Birmingham. Baby Beau will be observed for about a week before the surgery is performed, then his recovery will be 2-3 weeks. During this time, both Shania and Troy will be out of work without pay. We have put this fundraiser together for them because life doesn’t stop, even during something so scary.
