Support Baby Bearett's Critical Care Journey
Donation protected
We are Cody’s sisters; Sarah, Jessica and Annette. We are hoping to relieve even just a small amount of stress and financial burden that is ahead.
Baby Bearett came into the world on August 16th a few weeks shy of his due date, after 41 hours of labor and a failed induction. Born via C-section, he came out a healthy 8lbs 9oz, 20.5 inches. Mommy, Daddy and Bearett were released about 48 hours after delivery to head home and begin the sleepy bliss that is new parenthood. Bearett had a follow up appointment on Monday where the Pediatrician found his weight decreased a bit more overnight, and his bilirubin was appearing better. They received a call Monday afternoon telling them that they could cancel their follow-up on Wednesday the 21st because baby’s bilirubin numbers were better! Mommy and daddy decided they felt more comfortable keeping the Wednesday (the 21st) weight check so they moved forward with that appointment. We are so thankful to God they did!
On Wednesday, the 21st, baby Bearett was checked into the pediatrician to find that his weight was lower than Monday, and his temperature was critically low. The decision was made to air lift Bearett from Conemaugh Hospital to UPMC Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital.
Since his admission Bearett has become critically ill. He is currently receiving dialysis because his kidneys were not working.
We ask that if you are in a place to relieve some of the financial burden that will undoubtedly be accrued, please give what your heart feels lead to give and beyond. If you are unable to donate financially, we covet your prayers at this time.
We thank you so much for taking the time to lift up the new Mommy, Daddy, and their most precious gift, Bearett.
We love you all!
