Support Baby Arlo's Heart Healing Journey

Sweet baby Arlo was recently care-flighted to OU Children’s Hospital, where he is now in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. He has been diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta—a congenital heart condition that has been causing his heart to work much harder than it should.

The current care plan is to remain in the ICU and give Arlo’s heart time to rest and heal with the help of medication, delaying surgery for up to six weeks. The goal is to make him as strong as possible before undergoing this critical procedure. Once surgery is performed, Arlo is expected to spend a month in the ICU as he recovers.

Despite everything he’s facing, Arlo continues to show incredible strength—and even manages a few smiles to lift the spirits of his mom and dad, Kylie and Brayden.
