Support baby Ardyn born at just 22 weeks
Donation protected
On May 30th at 22 weeks pregnant, my dear friend, renowned dancer and choreographer, Ebony Williams shockingly went into labor and was forced to have an emergency c-section when her baby's heart stopped beating for an extended period. Leading up to this day, she had been experiencing various concerning symptoms during her pregnancy, visiting doctors and even the emergency room on numerous occasions. She was repeatedly sent home without answers and told things were fine. She felt unheard and disregarded by medical staff who even failed to confirm and take action when her water had broken a week before she ended up giving birth.
While in labor, doctors originally said Ardyn would only have a 10-15 percent chance of survival but he shocked them by not only making his exit through the birth canal after the abdominal incision was made but also coming out breathing on his own at a mere 1lb 3oz. He is now 2 weeks old but still just a 24-week-old fetus. He's experienced numerous complications and undergone procedures and transfusions to save his life. This boy is a testament to his parents and a true fighter.
While his condition remains critical for the foreseeable future and the road will be a very long one being cared for in the NICU, we are believing Ardyn will pull through. This is an extremely trying and unimaginable situation for this family mentally, emotionally and physically. Some of the ways your contributions will help them are:
- Medical bills
- Ebony's recovery
- Food and wellness
- Loss of their typical income while their days are spent in the NICU by Ardyn's side
- Baby Ardyn's future care needs that are yet to be determined as he develops and his condition becomes more stable
- Unexpected larger expenses to adapt to the needs of their new normal
- And more
PLEASE PRAY FOR Ardyn, Ebony, and Chris. And please offer any support that you're able to contribute here. These are extremely giving and loving people who always support those around them. Let's be the community they need and return the favor. Thank you in advance for your contributions!
