Hi everyone,

We’re Naomi and Liam, and we recently welcomed our daughter Adeline into the world under incredibly difficult circumstances.

Adeline was born with a rare condition called gastroschisis, which meant her intestines developed outside of her body. She had to undergo surgery immediately after birth and has since been admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she’ll remain for an extended period as she heals, grows, and learns to feed on her own.

These past days have been filled with fear, gratitude, and an overwhelming love for our little girl. While we are staying strong for Adeline, the emotional and financial toll has been heavy.

We’ve been incredibly fortunate to be offered temporary housing through the Ronald McDonald House, which has allowed us to stay close to her during this critical time. Their support has been a true blessing, and we are so grateful for it. We have also been blessed by being welcomed into the Orrs hope foundation, which helps us cover gas and food expenses during our stay we cannot begin to express how grateful we are for both of these foundations!

That said, the financial strain of this journey is still immense. With both of us unable to work right now, we are facing mounting costs that include:

    •    Uncovered medical costs

    •    Future expenses once Adeline is discharged and needs continued care

• basic needs for her when she is able to come home

We created this GoFundMe to help ease some of these burdens so we can focus completely on Adeline and her recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting our family during this time — and helping us prepare for the day we can finally bring our baby girl home.
