A’zurii, also known as Burrito or Fat Fat, was born on February 9 at 8:39 pm. She weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. She wasn't in any rush, hitting me with a 3-day hold up, but when she finally entered the world, I tell you, she lit up every room she went in. Nothing but love, but half the time people would think she’s a doll baby because you never heard her cry. She was just my noisy baby who liked to sculpt the canary!
She loved to eat, watch movies, and talk. She never left my side. She was my best friend who always got what she wanted, and if she didn’t, she gave you so much attitude. You never wanted to be on A’zurii's bad side because she would make sure that you knew she didn’t like you. She was an intelligent baby, already holding her bottle at 2 months.
A’zurii came out looking just like her older brother Zy. Her brother loved her like she was his own baby, not letting people touch or even look at her the wrong way. Zy and A’zurii were stuck like glue together, and now her brother has to grieve her every day but doesn’t even know it. It hurts to see my baby hurting. He asks me every day, 'What happened to A’zurii?' or 'Who took her?' And all I can really say to him is, 'God sent her home.' Everything has been off since she left. The energy is gone. She was the light most needed to get through the day, but now all that I have of her are the things that she once used.
