Hi, my name is Daniel D. Ruiz. For those of you that know me, you know this isn’t an easy task for me. I’ve never been one to ask for handouts or help, not unless it is absolutely necessary for me to do so. This is one of those times. Pride and ego have been cast aside for this one, and it’s definitely one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make.
It’s with a heavy heart that one of my dogs is in dire need of medical treatment. Due to the current events of the world and everything becoming so unaffordable these days, I don’t have the ability to save his life on my own. After a routine dental visit, my Husky, Azul, showed signs of lethargy and chose not to eat or drink after 24 hours following anesthesia. At this point, we closely monitored the next steps. At 37 hours later, we rushed to emergency where it was determined surgery was needed to remove a foreign body in his intestines. Things have been okay, but he’s in bad shape and moving forward has been tough. With the worst in mind and hoping for the best, a hole has been blown in my life, and this isn’t easy for me. All I can do is pray. My pups are family, and I would go to war for them.
I know everyone has life, and life at this time is difficult for everyone. I’m not asking, I’m begging. Every little bit counts and I’ll count my blessings. Thank you for taking the time to read and stop by.
